Cafe UP in Bamberg

One of my favorite cafes. The waffles are really tasty and nicely presented. The staff is really nice.

Pizza was really okay! I also ordered a waffle with oreos and bueno and paid 1 euro each for the extras. In the end, 1 OREO AND A HALF BUENO DRAUF was cheek !! Can I also buy a pack of oreos and buenos myself !!!!

Ordered from you for the first time today via Lieferando. Salad was very fresh and tasty. Pizza was hot and tasty! We will definitely order more often. Keep it up ??

Delicious tarte flambée, great waffles (with names on the plate :)), nice service and nice atmosphere.

Nice café, great friendly service. Great selection of waffles and coffee / drinks. We ate waffles and had cappu there. The waffles were delicious, but for the high price? Hmmm...

Very slow service, we had to leave before we got what we ordered to catch our train, although we have paid already.

Can’t recommend the outdoor spots, since the street is very noisy. Salad wasn’t too good but rather expensive. There are far more cozy places in town

Bad Corona rule implementation. The tables weren't even wiped down for new guests and are theoretically far too close together. The food was quite expensive for the quality.

I'm a brand ambassador and have been to a number of cities and a number of cafés of all kinds. It's not the first time I've been to this café and each time the service was so nice that you could see the joy of seeing this crew again. And so it was again when I wanted to take my guests out today. The ideas and wishes of me and my visitors have been exceeded. The food was very tasty. Even with the espresso I noticed that it was prepared and served with love. My visitors were there with me for the first time and we have already arranged a date for the next meeting at Café Up. I am considering holding my launches here as well. I already expressed my thanks there, but herewith again a huge thank you to the team and the owner. Please keep it up! BEST RECOMMENDATION FROM ME TO FUTURE VISITORS !!!

Visited today, heard a lot of good things. But been very disappointed. Went there without a reservation. It was said that everything is reserved. But something would become free if we came later. All right, reserved and come back an hour later. Got our table and the cards. After 10 minutes the waitress comes and asks if everything is good and if we still want something. The waitress didn't even notice that we're new and haven't even ordered. So first ordered drinks and then waffles for everyone, there were five of us. We were really looking forward to the waffles. After 15 minutes the waitress comes and says there is only lemon ice cream and strawberry ice cream. We asked how it can be when the café is fully booked until the evening and you only have two types of ice cream (which doesn't go well with all types of waffle creations), then the waitress immediately turned on us totally unfriendly that that's the way it is and expected us to eat our waffles with the two types of ice cream. That doesn't work, I can't tell the guest what to eat if they don't want it. So we wanted to get the bill for the drinks and leave. Then the waiter immediately became unfriendly again and said we couldn't just leave now, the waffles were already ready. We made it clear to the waiter that we'd like to pay for our drinks and want to leave. After 3 minutes and consultation with the boss, it was accepted and we left the restaurant disappointed. Why 3 stars anyway. Because the boss said we should take the waffles away for free because they were already made and it would be a shame to throw them away. We will visit the restaurant again in the next few months and see if something has changed. Maybe there will be 6 stars.

Very very good coffee. In my opinion, even the best coffee in Bamberg. Tastes very intense. Portions are almost twice as big as other cafes around here. I can't say anything about the food yet, as I always come for a coffee during my lunch break. However, I will also tackle this soon :) Service is very friendly. WiFi is also available. Addendum 1.9.20 Today I dared to try the lunch menu. The dishes are not only beautifully arranged, they also taste very, very tasty. Highly recommended! Price-performance ratio is also great

I've been a fan of this shop since the beginning. My boyfriend and I went there 2-3 times a month to eat waffles, but in the meantime you have to say that the quality has decreased significantly. In the meantime you can no longer put together your own waffles (which should be taken for granted in a waffle shop, Wonderwaffel is the best example) People just enter this shop to have a waffle to their liking. Why should you choose between waffles where you don't like half of the ingredients? A few weeks ago I asked very kindly why you can't put your own waffles together anymore. The answer I got was: “The lady who made the waffles doesn't work here anymore”. I'm sorry, but this statement could have been saved. In the meantime, it has to be said that there is hardly any topping left on the waffles. If I order a normal waffle for € 7, I am not satisfied with a quarter of a banana, a drop of hazelnut butter and half a Snickers. The price-performance ratio has increased massively for what you ultimately get served. Really a shame, but now the shop is no longer an option for me and my friends.

A beautiful, aesthetically pleasing café. The waitresses are very nice and do a good job. The delicious, but very sweet waffles are nicely served by writing your own name on the plate with chocolate. Overall worth a visit

Open people !! Finally wants to feed waffles again Addendum: Was today 30.5. in the Café UP. The shop looks bombastic !!! Staff very friendly! And people your waffles ... just awesome awesome !!! You are really the best place in Bamberg and the surrounding area to sin. Up soon.

Very tasty milk chocolate and good service!

Staff was very slow, asked us to change tables, also who puts a plastic straw in hot chocolate? Coffee was good

They talk up their coffee, but it is average at best, there is no consistency between coffees which shows that they either don't care about coffee, or don't know what they are doing. One of the reasons it was no good was that there was way WAY too much milk froth. One coffee literally had 60% milk froth and the other had a small amount ... And they were the same coffee! The coffee I had was more like a babychino of all milk froth and minimal coffee. But it was better than a bitter train station machine coffee.

Very nice cafe. I enjoyed a selection of coffees, cold drinks and a waffle. Food was very nice. Service was fantastic. Staff very helpful and caring.

Very poor quality products. A hot tea with mint and ginger tasteless and a espresso that was like a soup! I wouldn't recommend this place at all! Very overpriced.

Friendly atmosphere , service is fast and the Cafe smells like waffels! Delicious!!

I totally expected more from this place. We waited more than half an hour for our waffles. Food was ok, they write your name on the plate beside your waffles. We also ordered a bagel, not bad, but small quantity for the price. In general it's ok for having a coffee, out to bring someone excited about mega sweat treats, otherwise you can spend your money better in Bamberg

Great waffles. Just the best place to visit on your cheat day.

Have now been waiting here for 1 1/2 hours. We reserved tables for a school group and have watched at least 20 other customers come in, order, eat and leave. We are still waiting. The staff couldn't care less. Will definitely not come back.

Good prices and nice staff, pretty decoration.

From the waffles to the topping everything tastes delicious. Their coffee selection is also pretty broad and the hot chocolate super tasty! Can't beat the price either! I can recommend it and would definitely come back.
